The first single malt Glenfiddich whisky has been matured for something like 12 years in American and European oak barrels. The nature of these barrels is outstanding, as all the others are assembled by an accomplished group, which ensures their whisky had a richly adjusted taste with tones of new pear and unpretentious oak.
